I'm just looking to upgrade and go, I never expected it to be so hard to install a free update, I'm almost tempted to go out and pay the $199.99 for a boxed edition. I have tried reinstalling it 4 times and still have had no luck with it. I decided to install using the media tool and now every time I try to finish it i get 'windows 10 setup has failed to validate the product key' and i am forced to close it. I checked the log for updates and i found 10 windows 10 download attempts that had all failed. I was doing my causal check for the passive windows 10 install in windows update. Hi, I am running a windows 7 Pro desktop that meets all the criteria for windows 10.
